Filipovic, Conway & Associates is a law firm based in Thunder Bay that traces back to 1957, when John Paul Filipovic, called to the Ontario bar in 1955, returned to Thunder Bay to start a practice after two years working in Toronto. The firm's team also includes Michael D. Conway, called to the bar in 1975, now retired after more than 30 years in practice that included work as a mediator and acting director for Legal Aid Ontario. It's currently run by Daniel R. Filipovic and Samantha A. Filipovic, who keep a smaller profile focused on Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario, with a second office in Red Rock.

Daniel R. Filipovic, called to the bar in 1994, holds a law degree from the University of Alberta and a business degree from Lakehead University, and became a certified mediator with the Ontario Association for Family Mediation in 2010. Samantha A. Filipovic, called to the bar in 1995, holds a law degree from the University of Alberta and a fine arts degree from York University, and helped establish the Thunder Bay Collaborative Law Group after several years as a staff lawyer with Legal Aid Ontario's family law clinic. Between them, the firm practices family law, mediation, real estate, wills, powers of attorney, estate planning and litigation, corporate law, and civil litigation.
