Horton's Midland practice from 1959, to the firm names Horton, Hewson & MacKinnon (1973) and MacKinnon, DeVillers, Deacon & Taws (1989), while Rod Ferguson built a separate personal injury and civil litigation practice, Ferguson Barristers LLP, starting in 1990.
