About Harmonia Law

Harmonia Law is a solo family law practice based in Pembroke, Ontario, serving Petawawa, Pembroke, and the surrounding Renfrew County. The firm is led by Lisa Coutu, a barrister and solicitor called to the Ontario bar in 2023. Coutu holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law and a B.A. and M.A. in political science from the University of Guelph. Harmonia Law offers both full-service and unbundled representation in family law, including separation, divorce, parenting time, child and spousal support, cohabitation and separation agreements, and mediation, alongside wills and powers of attorney, small claims, commercial contract drafting, and civil litigation.

The firm describes its approach to family law cases as whole-client and trauma-informed, recognizing that separation and parenting disputes don't stop at the paperwork. Administrator Teri, who brings nine years of experience in child welfare and seven years in legal administration, supports the practice. Outside the firm, Coutu is a member of Petawawa Town Council, chairs its Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee, and serves on the Petawawa Public Library Board.
