About Bradley Law Professional Corporation

Bradley Law Professional Corporation is a small firm based in Pembroke, Ontario, with satellite offices in Barry's Bay and Deep River serving the Upper Ottawa Valley. Its Pembroke roots go back to the 1830s, when W.R. White opened a law office in the city, and the firm's current form runs through a string of local mergers: Williams and Bradley in 1954, Huckabone O'Brien in 1960 (joined by Leo Lafrance, Herb Shaw, and William Instance in 1987), and separate practices in Barry's Bay and Deep River founded in the 1970s. Those threads came together on January 1, 2021, when Huckabone O'Brien Instance Bradley merged with Howe & Bradley, joined that July 5 by Roche Law of Deep River, to form the present firm.

Bradley Law practises real estate, corporate and commercial law, wills and estates, family law, and municipal law. President Matthew J. Bradley holds an Honours B.A. from Queen's University, a Civil Law degree from Laval University, and a Common Law degree from the University of Ottawa, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1994. Legal services at the firm are offered in English and French, and legal clerks work out of all three offices to support the practice.
