Simard & Associates is a full service law firm based in Rockland, in the City of Clarence-Rockland east of Ottawa. Marc Simard opened the practice as a sole practitioner in 1996, then known as Marc Simard Professional Corporation on Edwards Street, and the firm has since grown into a team of about a dozen people, including four lawyers, working out of an office on Laurier Street. The firm practises business law, real estate, wills and estates, family law, and civil litigation, serving Clarence-Rockland, Orleans, Cumberland, Gloucester, and the wider Prescott-Russell and Ottawa region in both English and French.

Senior counsel Marc Simard is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, was called to the Ontario Bar in 1994, and has appeared before all levels of the Ontario courts, including the Ontario Court of Appeal, building an extensive real estate and business law practice along the way. Simard is also a citizen of the Metis Nation of Ontario. The firm's other three lawyers, Elyssa Potvin, Carolynne Marleau, and Melissa Lalonde, all completed the French Common Law Program at the University of Ottawa; Potvin joined Simard & Associates through an internship and Lalonde through articling before each was called to the bar, and the three now focus on real estate, business, wills and estates, and family law matters.
