Victor Vallance Blais LLP, known on its own site as VVB, is an Ottawa firm built around two practice groups: family law and civil litigation. The office is on Lisgar Street in the city's Centretown core. It's a small team by design, three partners and four associates, rather than a full service general practice. VVB's own pages describe over 30 years of experience across both practice areas, and the current roster includes lawyers called to the Ontario bar across nearly six decades, from 1968 through 2022.

Partner Stephen Victor, called to the bar in 1968 and appointed Queen's Counsel in 1981, heads the civil litigation group, which takes on personal injury, employment, contract, and business disputes. Partners Ian Vallance and Michèle Blais both focus on family law, handling divorce, parenting disputes, support, and property division, and each has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada for that work. Several lawyers on the team are trained in mediation and collaborative family law, so many files don't reach trial, though the group also appears regularly before the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
