KMH Lawyers operates as Kelly Manthorp Heaphy Professional Corporation, a general practice firm founded in Ottawa in 1976. Its six lawyers together bring more than 100 years of combined legal experience to real estate, wills and estates, civil and estate litigation, family law, and business and corporate matters. Founding partner Edward G. Manthorp practised at the firm and its predecessor firms for 43 years before leaving the practice of law at the end of 2019, and the firm's current partners are Nancie-Anne Heaphy and Miriam Vale Peters.

The team's backgrounds vary. Heaphy ran an independent real estate practice on Bank Street before joining as a partner in the fall of 2008, and now handles residential and commercial real estate along with wills, estates and trusts in both English and French. Vale Peters practised with firms in Vancouver and Toronto before relocating to Ottawa and now concentrates on civil and estate litigation, appearing at every level of court in Ontario up to the Supreme Court of Canada. Elisha M.E. Kelly, who grew up in Quebec's Pontiac County, also serves clients in English and French and focuses on real estate and estate administration. The firm serves clients across the National Capital Region from its Ottawa office.
