About Rizk Law Office

Rizk Law Office is a sole practitioner firm in Orleans, a community in Ottawa's east end. It's led by principal lawyer Sherif Rizk, who earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in 2014 and a License en droit in 2021, and who worked at litigation firms in Ottawa and Toronto before opening the practice. Rizk is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and holds the Certified Fraud Examiner credential from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, which feeds into the firm's civil fraud work. The practice covers civil litigation, civil fraud, personal injury claims from motor vehicle accidents and slip and falls, wills and estate planning, and notarization services, and Rizk has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Federal Court of Canada.

Rizk also writes and speaks publicly on legal topics, with media interviews in The Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, and Canadian Family Offices, and guest articles for the Ontario Bar Association's JUST. Magazine and for Law360 Canada. Rizk belongs to L'Association des juristes d'expression française de l'Ontario and gave a media interview in Arabic about estate planning for families with roots in more than one country. The firm supports the Ottawa Food Bank through an annual fundraiser.
