McGarry Law is a sole-practitioner criminal defence firm at 116 Lisgar Street in downtown Ottawa, run by lawyer Brett McGarry. The practice focuses on criminal, regulatory, and professional disciplinary matters, including impaired driving, assault, drug and firearms charges, fraud, and sexual assault allegations. McGarry was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2008 after earning a law degree from Dalhousie Law School in 2007 and a BA (Honours) in Political Studies and Philosophy from Queen's University in 2004. Before starting the practice, McGarry articled for judges of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, researching trials involving murder, manslaughter, fraud, and sexual assault, and later worked at another Ottawa firm in criminal defence and personal injury law.

The firm emphasizes direct access to McGarry rather than a rotating team, and it typically arranges a same-day jail visit once it is hired on a case. It offers a free 30-minute consultation and represents clients across Eastern Ontario, including Cornwall, Brockville, Pembroke, and Kingston, with matters that can proceed in English or French. McGarry belongs to the Criminal Lawyers' Association, the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa, the County of Carleton Law Association, and the Stormont Dundas and Glengarry Law Association, and served two terms as a trustee on the County of Carleton Law Association's board.
