Jean-François Léger Professional Corporation is a solo regulatory law practice headquartered on Blackburn Avenue in Ottawa. Jean-François Léger is a barrister and solicitor called to the Barreau du Québec in 1986 and admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1988, and holds Civil Law (B.C.L.) and Common Law (LL.B.) degrees from McGill University's Faculty of Law. The practice focuses entirely on communications regulation, covering wireline and wireless telephony, network interconnection, VoIP, internet services, 9-1-1 emergency calling, carrier access to rights of way, and 900/976 calling services.

Before setting up the practice, Léger spent more than 20 years with Canada's largest telecommunications service provider, including 10 years as Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory Law. That in-house career included drafting CRTC submissions on deregulation, wireline and wireless number portability, and wholesale internet pricing, and negotiating local interconnection agreements. Léger practices in both French and English.
