Blake Family Law is a family, estate, and elder law practice based in Ottawa, Ontario, with its office on Centrepointe Drive in the city's west end. The firm's senior counsel, Blake R. Lyngseth, was called to the Ontario bar in 2001 and holds a law degree from Queen's University, along with degrees in English Literature and Political Science from the University of Toronto, a Master's degree in Piano Performance, and a teaching degree from McGill University. Lyngseth is an accredited member of the Ontario Association of Family Mediators and a certified practitioner in elder law, with experience as both a litigator and a mediator.

The firm's work spans two areas: family law, covering separation, divorce, custody and access, child and spousal support, property division, and cohabitation or separation agreements, and estate and elder law, covering wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. The firm favours mediation and negotiated settlements where that's realistic, though it doesn't avoid litigation when a case calls for it.
