MUNERA is a Toronto based law firm with additional by appointment offices in Ottawa and Montreal. The firm was founded by Alexander G. Munera, who remains its principal lawyer, and it advises large public companies, non-for-profit and government organizations, mid-size and small businesses, and individuals on business, real estate, immigration, family, trusts, tax and estate planning, employment, and litigation matters. Munera holds a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School, an MBA and MEng from McGill University, and a BEng in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Colombia, and is licensed to practice in Ontario and Alberta.

Before founding the firm, Munera practiced at a full service firm in Calgary and a small commercial firm in Toronto, then served as legal counsel for Canada and Latin America at a global engineering and infrastructure company. That background shows up in the firm's client base, which includes companies expanding internationally and foreign businesses setting up in Canada. Munera is fluent in French, Spanish, and English and conversant in Italian and Portuguese, and is a member of the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association.
