About Zool

Zool Suleman, KC, is the founder of Suleman & Co. He is a 1989 graduate of Dalhousie Law School and served as a law clerk at the Federal Court of Canada, Appeal Division, in 1990-91. He articled with a national law firm before establishing Suleman & Co. in 1992, and restricts his practice to Canadian immigration law. He is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association, and a founding member of the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association. He has organized seminars and published on immigration topics for the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers' Association, among others. Since 2005, he has been active with the City of Vancouver Mayor's Working Group on Immigration, serving as Chair, Co-Chair, and Past Chair at various times. He was appointed Queen's Counsel (now King's Counsel) by the Attorney General of British Columbia in December 2017.
