About Xiaopeng

Xiaopeng (Leo) Yuan was born and raised in Beijing, China, and moved to Canada in 2001. He earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Queen's University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria. His practice covers real estate, business, and personal planning, including business and sponsorship immigration matters and helping clients establish and maintain business interests in British Columbia. He also practices estate planning and is active in the community as chair of the Canadian Bar Association's Wills, Estates and Trusts section and a board member of the Victoria Chinatown Care Society. He received a 2019 Community Partnership Award for his volunteer work with the Victoria Immigration and Refugee Centre.
