About Zachary

Zachary Davis's practice focuses on helping Indigenous communities understand, assert, and exercise their rights, particularly by supporting governments in articulating their own legal traditions within contemporary laws and policies. When negotiating with the Crown, Zachary works to secure recognition of jurisdiction, and turns to litigation when negotiations do not succeed. Zachary holds an LLB/BCL and a BA from McGill University, is admitted to the bars of Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, and Yukon, and has been recognized by Lexpert.
