About Yalda

Yalda Kazemi-Shirazi is the senior associate lawyer at Vayeghan Litigation, focusing on refugee and immigration law. She has represented clients from countries including Afghanistan, Colombia, Costa Rica, Iran, Iraq, Guatemala, and Mexico. Kazemi-Shirazi holds a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University Faculty of Law. She has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada in a case concerning the Canada-US Safe Third Country Agreement, working alongside the Rainbow Refugee Society.
