About Mo

Mo Vayeghan leads Vayeghan Litigation and is a former British Columbia Crown Prosecutor. He has provided legal commentary to national media outlets including CBC News, the Vancouver Sun, the National Post, and the Star, and has argued cases at every level of the British Columbia judicial system, including the Court of Appeal. Vayeghan earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from Simon Fraser University, a law degree from the University of Calgary, and completed his legal education at the UBC Allard School of Law, where he served as Deputy Editor of the UBC International Law Journal. He later earned a Master of Laws from Columbia Law School in New York, where he served as Editor of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. Vayeghan trained at The Bronx Defenders in New York City and focuses on complex criminal defence matters including assault, drug trafficking, weapons charges, fraud, and extradition. He is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Criminal Defence Advocacy Society, and the American Bar Association.
