About Xiao
William Wang advises businesses and individuals on corporate and commercial matters, real estate, e-commerce and regulated industries such as healthcare and privacy, practising in association with Starkman & Zhang Lawyers. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2025 after earning his JD from Western University and also holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Toronto. He articled at Torys LLP, where he advised hospitals and pharmacies on regulatory matters and worked on transactions including a $235 million financing in StackAdapt, and later reviewed documents at Deloitte on e-discovery matters. Before law, he spent over seven years as a pharmacist, including as an oncology pharmacist at Mount Sinai Hospital. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional and speaks English and Mandarin.
