About William
William Wolfe earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and economics from the University of British Columbia in 1985 and a law degree from the University of Ottawa in 1988, before being admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1990. He spent his first decade in practice working exclusively for insurance companies, representing them at all levels of Ontario courts, before leaving in 2000 to represent individual plaintiffs suffering serious injuries. That background gives him insight into how insurers approach claims, which he now applies on behalf of injured clients. William has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal, arguing numerous jury and non-jury trials across the province, and in 2014 he completed an intensive mediation program at the Center for Dispute Resolution in Washington, D.C. He belongs to the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Advocates' Society, and both the Ontario and Canadian Bar Associations.
