About William
William 'Bill' Allen founded what became Allen & Malek LLP in 1985 after more than three decades in practice, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1954. He earned a Masters of Law from Osgoode Hall, co-authored the first three editions of the Estate Planning Handbook, and received the Ontario Bar Association's Award of Excellence in 2004 for his contributions to trusts and estates law. He passed away in 2015.
