About Wei
Wei (Sabrina) Wang joined Alves Law near its founding and practices exclusively in family law, covering both litigation and alternative dispute resolution. She has a strong interest in cross-border family matters and has been recognized by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice as an expert in Chinese family law and legal procedure. Sabrina is fluent in English and Mandarin. She earned a Ph.D. in Law from Southwest University of Political Science and Law in China and an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School, and before practicing in Ontario she worked as a law professor and researcher, publishing books, book chapters and articles and spending time as an academic visitor at Oxford University studying comparative family law. She remains qualified to practice law in mainland China, serves as an arbitrator with the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission, and sits on the council of the Marriage and Family Law Association of the China Law Society. Sabrina is currently completing her family mediation certification in Ontario.
