Wayne A. Chorney is the president of Chorney Law Professional Corporation in Sault Ste. Marie, admitted to the Ontario Bar on April 20, 1988. He practises real estate, wills and estates, criminal defence, and civil litigation, and the firm's site describes him as having over 35 years of legal experience across prosecution, judicial, and private-practice work. He has served as a Deputy Judge of the Small Claims Court since 1998, and worked as a Federal Prosecuting Agent for the Department of Justice from 1988 to 2014 and as a Provincial Prosecutor for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry from 2000 to 2023.
