Virginie Dufresne-Lemire is a founding partner of Arsenault Dufresne Wee Avocats. Before being admitted to the bar in 2014, she completed bachelor's degrees in communication and in law. She specializes in representing victims of sexual violence and abuse of authority, particularly abuses committed by police forces and government and religious institutions. Beyond representing clients in civil suits and other proceedings, including coroner's inquests, she works to make complex legal issues accessible to the public through the media, and is a member of the Ligue des droits et libertés.
