About Virginia

Virginia Cabello founded VIC Avocate Inc. and practices immigration and family law, including accredited family mediation. Cabello is a member of the Barreau du Québec, the Jeune Barreau de Montréal, and the Association québécoise des avocats et avocates en droit de l'immigration (AQAADI). Cabello graduated from the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Law in 2018, completed articling at a Montreal firm practicing family and immigration law, and then worked at another firm in the same areas before founding this practice. During law school, Cabello volunteered with the McGill Legal Information Clinic and completed a community placement at the Mile End legal clinic. Before settling in Canada, Cabello studied social work in Venezuela and worked with families and children facing difficult circumstances, and holds a certificate in community action from the Université de Montréal. Cabello speaks French, English and Spanish.
