About Vanessa
Vanessa joined Soloway Wright's Ottawa office in 2020 as a member of the Real Estate & Development, Commercial Leasing and Condominium Law groups, after summering and articling with the firm. Her real estate practice covers purchases, sales and financings, and she regularly advises condominium corporation boards, drafting by-laws, agreements and status certificates. A large part of her practice involves commercial leasing work for both landlords and tenants, including drafting and enforcing leases. Vanessa earned her JD cum laude from the University of Ottawa in 2019 and a BA from Dalhousie University in 2015, and was called to the bar in 2020. She co-chairs the firm's Articling Committee.
