Valerie Riendeau graduated from the University of Montreal in 2004 and has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2005. She practices exclusively in criminal law and is a member of l'Association des avocats de la defense de Montreal. She chose early in her career to start her own practice, and now leads Riendeau Avocats, mentoring the lawyers on her team. With more than 12 years of experience, her areas of focus include impaired driving, sexual assault, child pornography, assault causing bodily harm, aggravated assault, theft and fraud, and she has successfully advanced Charter arguments before the courts. She also takes part in the legal information program offered by the Municipal Court of Montreal, providing free legal advice to unrepresented people at their first court appearance.
