About Valérie

Valérie Leroux works as a research and writing lawyer at the firm. She graduated from the Université de Montréal and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2002 and of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés since 2007. She provides research and file preparation in employment law, professional law and disciplinary law for the firm's trial lawyers, and advises employers on day-to-day human resources matters including labour legislation, human rights, the Charter of the French Language, and collective agreements. She also assists employers and employees with immigration matters for skilled workers, including temporary resident visas, work permits and permanent residence applications. Before joining the firm she worked at large firms and at a publicly traded company with operations in Quebec and internationally, developing further experience in corporate law, securities and intellectual property.
