About Mélanie

Mélanie Morin has practised employment and labour law since her admission to the Barreau du Québec in 2003, and also handles civil litigation involving shareholder disputes and liability claims. She spent many years as a partner at a national firm, where she represented employers of all sizes in matters including grievance arbitration, labour relations, certification, dismissal, and workplace health and safety. Her practice also covers extraordinary remedies such as judicial review and injunctions in non-competition and strike contexts, as well as professional discipline files. She has been a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés since 2009, and has taught employment law and contributed to exam preparation and webinars for the École du Barreau.
