Trent A.B. Vining was born and raised in Nanaimo, British Columbia. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004 from the University of Victoria and his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia in 2008. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2009 and practises exclusively in the area of family law.
