About Tom
Tom Sutherland is an intellectual property lawyer in the Toronto office who focuses on the acquisition, protection and commercialization of intellectual property rights. During his articles, he completed a secondment at a multinational pharmaceutical company. Prior to law school, he earned a Ph.D. in nuclear chemistry researching nanoparticle formation caused by ionizing radiation for application in nuclear reactors.
