About Timothy

Timothy Verhaeghe has practiced law since 2004 and is the managing partner of Verhaeghe Law Office, focusing mainly on family law, real estate, and wills and estates. He has also practiced criminal defence, civil, and employment law, and has served as an ad-hoc Crown Prosecutor. He has appeared at all levels of court in Alberta, including the Court of Justice, the Court of King's Bench, and the Court of Appeal, and is a registered Collaborative Family Lawyer and a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the Collaborative Divorce Alberta Association. Timothy is a graduate of NAIT's forestry program, holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management, and obtained his law degree, all through the University of Alberta. He has served two terms on Athabasca Town Council and received the Order of Athabasca University. His main office is in Edmonton, and he also attends the firm's Whitecourt office every second Thursday and its Athabasca office by appointment.
