Timothy J. Snyder was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, and has lived in Alberta since 1997. He earned a BA in History and Political Science from the University of Toronto in 1992 and a law degree from the University of Alberta in 1997, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 1998. He practices mainly in family and divorce law and child welfare, with extensive experience before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, and the Alberta Court of Appeal.
