About Timothy
Timothy N. Sullivan practises Family Law, Civil Litigation, and Wills and Estates in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Wilfrid Laurier University and later returned there for a Master's in Political Science, then obtained his law degree in Windsor, Ontario, where he was a reviewer for The Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues and the first University of Windsor coordinator of Pro Bono Students Canada. He articled with a mid-sized Ottawa general practice firm and completed his Bar Admission in December 2001, then joined a law firm in Perth, Ontario in 2002, practising Criminal Law, Real Estate, Family and Civil Litigation, Corporate Law, Administrative Law, and Landlord/Tenant matters, and serving as a roster duty counsel for Legal Aid Ontario at the Perth Courthouse. In 2011 he founded Solidus Law, then known as SullivanLaw, and continues to practise Family Law, Wills and Estates, and Civil Litigation, including a requalified Collaborative Family Practice. He has appeared before the Ontario Municipal Board, the Ottawa Board of Education, the Landlord Tenant Board, the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Divisional Court, and has written submissions for the Supreme Court of Canada. He is a former member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and a Coach/Mentor through the Law Society of Ontario's Coach and Advisor Network.
