About Tijana

Tijana Potkonjak is a partner at Devry Smith Frank LLP practising in personal injury, insurance defence and estate litigation. Before joining the firm, she worked at boutique firms in Ottawa and Toronto, gaining experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, commercial disputes and long-term disability claims. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, Small Claims Court and tribunals including the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Human Rights Tribunal, the Consent and Capacity Board and the Landlord and Tenant Board. Her insurance defence work spans travel medical expenses, long-term disability, critical illness and property damage claims, while her estate litigation practice covers dependant support claims and unjust enrichment. Tijana earned her B.A. from York University, her M.A. from Concordia University and her J.D. from the University of Ottawa, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2018.
