About Thomas

Thomas MacLaren was born and raised in Halifax and attended Acadia University, graduating in 2007. He completed his LL.B. at Cardiff University in Wales and obtained a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation before being called to the Nova Scotia bar in April 2013. He articled with Hicks LeMoine starting in 2012 and became a partner in 2017, focusing on real estate law, wills, estates, and probate. Tom also serves as a per diem Crown Attorney in Amherst, Truro, Antigonish, and Shubenacadie, and is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society and the Canadian Bar Association.
