About Thierry

Thierry Keable began a career in mining engineering before moving into law, practising business law at major firms in Montreal and Vancouver. Keable holds an LL.B. from Université Laval (2005) and a J.D. from the University of Victoria (2006), was called to the Quebec bar in 2007 and the British Columbia bar in 2009, and later completed an MBA at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management in 2020. Before returning to private practice, Keable held senior executive roles, including President of a US real estate developer and General Counsel for Whistler Blackcomb Holdings Inc., advising on over $40 billion in investments and contributing to Whistler Blackcomb's $1.4-billion acquisition by Vail Resorts. The practice covers mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, real estate investment and development, securities, construction and natural resources joint ventures, dispute resolution, restructuring and Aboriginal law.
