About Tessa
Tessa Cran practices in all areas of immigration, refugee, and citizenship law as well as wills and estates, including permanent residence applications, temporary residence applications, Federal Court applications, and refugee claims and appeals. She has appeared before the Refugee Protection Division and the Immigration Appeal Division and has had several successful applications before the Federal Court of Canada. She earned her Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the City Law School at City, University of London in 2014 and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in June 2019. She co-authored a paper on the Refugee Protection Division backlog presented at the 2019 Canadian Bar Association Immigration Law Conference and is a roster lawyer for immigration matters at Legal Aid Alberta.
