About Tara

Tara Hunt is a partner at Goodmans practicing corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity. She has received recognition in several legal industry guides for her work in these fields, along with recommendations for capital markets and sports law. Hunt holds a Master of Laws in Global Business Law from Columbia Law School and a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, where she co-presided over the Business Law Society and served as a senior editor of the university's Faculty of Law Review. She joined Goodmans as a first-year summer student in 2014 and became an associate at the firm in 2017.
