Wills, Estates & TrustsSylvie Godin-Charest earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from the University of Ottawa before completing her law degree at the Université de Moncton. She was called to the New Brunswick bar in 1999 and worked as an associate lawyer at CanAm Immigration in the Magog, Quebec region before moving to Moncton in 2001, where she practiced with Anderson McWilliam and with Legal Aid New Brunswick. She co-founded Droit Veritas Law, practicing there from 2012 to 2019, and later opened her own boutique practice focused on real estate law, an area she has worked in for about 20 years. She also provides immigration law services and is fluent in French and English. Sylvie is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Association des juristes d'expression française du Nouveau-Brunswick, and the Moncton Area Lawyer Association, and has volunteered on several New Brunswick tribunals and community boards.
