About Sylvain

Sylvain Tassé founded his own practice in 1990 and has spent more than 25 years focused on commercial law, including business start-ups, acquisitions and sales, mergers, corporate reorganizations and shareholder agreements. He assists clients with business transfers, including succession planning for family businesses and management buyouts, and is active in real estate, helping clients arrange financing with institutional and private lenders and put security in place. He also advises on asset protection and retirement compensation trusts, acts as counsel to dental professionals, and has extensive experience in secured transactions, corporate restructuring and bankruptcy, including pleading before the courts. He has taken part in numerous partnership negotiations between Quebec, Canadian, Asian and American companies, and now serves as the firm's founder and strategic advisor.
