About Surya

Surya Chakrabarti is the founding principal of Surya Law. He trained and worked at Bose & Mitra, one of India's larger law firms, and built a practice at the Calcutta High Court before moving to Canada. In Canada, he articled with OWS Law and gained real estate experience at Omar Zahid Law before opening his own practice. He now practises real estate, immigration, family, and wills and estates law and appears at courthouses across the GTA. He holds an LL.B. from the University of Burdwan, India and an LL.M. from London Metropolitan University in the UK, and received his Certificate of Qualification from Canada's National Committee on Accreditation before being called to the Ontario Bar.
