About Stanley
Carscallen practises corporate and commercial transactions, commercial real estate and leasing, commercial litigation, corporate governance, energy law, land use planning, securities litigation, and utilities regulation. Carscallen has appeared before the Court of King's Bench of Alberta, the Alberta Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of Canada, and tribunals including the National Energy Board and the Alberta Energy Regulator. Carscallen serves on the board of the Julia McFarlane Diabetes Research Centre and as a director of the Ann and Sandy Cross Conservation Area and the Canadian Cattlemen's Foundation. Called to the Alberta Bar in 1973, Carscallen holds King's Counsel.
