About Sonia

Sonia Keegan has practised as a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2015, focusing her practice on family law after earlier work in general civil law and in civil, commercial and tax litigation. She founded Keegan Avocats in January 2020, taking over the practice of Nicole Parent. Keegan holds a law degree and a joint undergraduate degree in psychology and sociology from Université de Montréal. She has volunteered with Éducaloi since early in her career, giving talks on legal topics to high school students, and was named a Governor of the Fondation du Barreau's young-leaders program in 2021. She has appeared before the Cour du Québec, the Cour supérieure and the Cour d'appel.
