About Shawn
Shawn Kraft is a lawyer at Kraft & Co. Law in Airdrie who combines a background in mechanical engineering with his legal practice. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 2004 and worked as an engineer in energy regulation and in oil and gas before returning to school for law. Kraft received his MBA and J.D. from the University of Calgary in 2011 and was called to the Alberta bar in 2012, after articling with a national firm and working as a patent lawyer for a sole practitioner. He has represented clients before the Provincial Court, the Court of King's Bench, and the Court of Appeal of Alberta. Kraft is also active in the Airdrie community, including as a board member of the Airdrie Foodbank and the Airdrie Ringette Association.
