About Shawn

Shawn Knights is the founder of Knights Law Professional Corporation and a family lawyer based in St. Catharines, Ontario. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2014 after earning his law degree at Osgoode Hall, where he completed the Criminal Intensive Program and a stream focused on litigation, dispute resolution, and the administration of justice, and he holds a Specialist Honours B.A. in history and political science from the University of Toronto. Before starting his own firm, he worked as an associate at two Niagara-area firms and as corporate counsel for a large corporation; earlier still, he served as a Reserve Commissioned Officer in the Canadian Forces and spent eight years as a political assistant at Queen's Park. He has specialized training in Collaborative Law and focuses on resolving family matters both in and out of court.
