James practises tax law and wills, trusts, estates and estate litigation, representing clients in estate, trust, and incapacity matters both in and out of court, including disputes over executor and trustee duties, will validity, and trust interpretation. James has represented individuals and corporations before Canadian federal and provincial tax authorities and courts, including the Cour du Québec and the Tax Court of Canada, in both English and French. James is a director of the French-speaking Legal Professionals Association of Alberta and a director of the World Literacy Foundation. James was called to the Alberta Bar in 2013.
