About Shanal

Shanal Prasad is the founder of Alpine Legal Services Law Corporation and practises as a real estate lawyer and notary public. He grew up near Langley, BC, and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, later obtaining a Chartered Professional Accountant (formerly Certified Management Accountant) designation while working in industry. He went on to complete his Juris Doctor at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, volunteering with the UBC Law Students' Legal Advice Program during his studies. After law school he worked as an associate at a mid-size Fraser Valley firm in real estate, business and wills and estates law before founding Alpine Legal Services, where he focuses primarily on real estate.
