About Cory

Cory Rypkema is a business lawyer and notary public at Alpine Legal Services who has lived in the Fraser Valley for most of his life. He earned his bachelor's degree in criminology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University before attending law school at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. He began his legal career as in-house counsel and General Counsel for companies in Langley and Surrey, then moved into private practice after more than five years to start his own business law practice at Alpine Legal Services, where founder Shanal Prasad is a friend from high school and university. Rypkema focuses on serving small to mid-size businesses across the Fraser Valley and offers his services remotely for clients throughout British Columbia.
