About Sereena

Sereena Siddiqi is a civil mental health lawyer and head of Arets Litigation's Mental Health Division. Siddiqi represents involuntary psychiatric patients before the Consent and Capacity Board and advises on issues involving substitute decision-makers. Before joining Arets, they articled for the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and remain an active peer support volunteer.
