About Sean
Sean G. Sorensen co-founded Walker Sorensen LLP with John Walker in April 2007, after previously serving as a partner in the Business Law Group at McCarthy Tetrault LLP, where he had articled. Before entering legal practice, he worked for one of Canada's large national railways. Sean's practice focuses on financial services, regulatory advice and general corporate commercial work, including corporate finance and private mergers and acquisitions, and he regularly advises insurers, corporate borrowers and foreign banks establishing operations in Canada. He earned his B.Comm, MBA and LLB from the University of Windsor and was called to the Ontario bar in 1999. Sean sits on the boards of several closely held corporations and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
